Recruitment Overview
We have two opportunities for women to join one of our 13 National Panhellenic Conference sororities at Oklahoma State University. Fall Recruitment takes place one week prior to the first week of school, and all 13 chapters participate. The in person dates for 2024 can be found below. Continuous Open Bidding is an informal recruitment process that begins on the last day of Fall Recruitment and concludes with first day of Pre-Finals Week in the Spring. Not every chapter participates in Continuous Open Bidding.
Primary Fall Recruitment
What is Primary Fall Recruitment?
Primary fall recruitment is a formalized mutual selection process by which a student is guaranteed to see all 13 NPC chapters. It is the main process the National Panhellenic Conference sororities use to recruit new members. The students begin by seeing all 13 chapters during the first round, this year on zoom, but the remaining in-person rounds are by invitation only.
Participation in formal recruitment does not guarantee an invitation to join a sorority, nor does it obligate a student to join. However, approximately 80% - 85% of the students participating in formal recruitment over the last 5 years have years have joined a NPC sorority at the weeks conclusion. Of the joining group, 90% received their first choice on bid day.
Registration is not open for Primary Recruitment.

August 12th - PNMs Move-in to Residence Halls
August 13th - 16th - In-Person Recruitment Rounds
August 17th - Bid Day!
Registration for Primary Fall Recruitment
Registration for 2024 Primary Fall Recruitment has not opened yet.
To participate in the recruitment process, you must be a full-time, undergraduate woman enrolled at the University of Oklahoma State University. There is $110 registration fee as well as a $5 administrative fee. Students who attended Admitted Students Day through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions will be able to move in for free on Monday August 14th. Students who did not attend Admitted Students day will be charged a $35 early move in fee which will be billed to your bursar by the Office of Housing and Residential Life.

What is COB?
Continuous Open Bidding or COB is a way for sororities to extend bids during the school year should spaces become available. It's very casual and unstructured and, since not every sorority participates, it's not easy to tell which sororities will participate in a given semester. It doesn't operate on a schedule, so some sororities will complete their COB process before another begins it. COB is a great way to join a Panhellenic sorority if you are interested!
