Non-Traditional Student Services

A non-traditional student, anyone with at least a two-year break in education, can benefit greatly through interaction with Non-Traditional Student Services. The primary goal of Non-Traditional Student Services is three-fold – to provide support, information and referrals.

The Non-Traditional Student Services Coordinator serves as a resource person for the entire campus community and seeks to raise the awareness of faculty, administrators and students with regard to the needs of this special group. In addition, the coordinator also advises the Off Campus Student Association and assist students who have rent-related difficulties (landlord disputes, etc.) or who are looking for housing off-campus.

Non-Traditional Student Organization

As a university-recognized organization, non-traditional students will gain support, information and referrals from their involvement with the Non-Traditional Student Organization. NTSO holds regular meetings once a month at lunch and has activities throughout the year for families, adults and children.  E-mail or call for a list of meeting/activity dates and times and ask to be added to the e-mail list for regular notifications of events.  The Non-Traditional Student Organization is located in 211 Student Union. You also can reach them by e-mail at ntso@okstate.edu.
