ALPHA EPSILON DELTA (HEALTH PRE-PROFESSIONAL HONOR SOCIETY)aed

The mission of our organization is to provide insight to pre-health students who plan to apply for any health-related program after their undergraduate years. We have at least one meeting per month that consists of guest speakers, resume workshops, and career development. AED also participates in volunteer opportunities and job shadowing. A&S STUDENT COUNCILstudent council

The Arts & Sciences Student Council serves as the voice of the undergraduate students in the College of Arts & Sciences. As the liaison between the students and the faculty, the Council’s primary goal is to foster an atmosphere of learning that places students first. Through student programming, interaction with administration and faculty, and the promotion of the College’s student organizations, the Council strives to enrich the experience of Arts & Sciences students. The Council also stresses service to the University and to the surrounding community.

-Applications will become available at the start of both fall and spring semesters at the Leadership and Campus Life desk at the Student Union.

 

 

BETA BETA BETA (NATIONAL BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES HONOR SOCIETY)beta

Tri-Beta is a national honor society for students in biological sciences who seek to stimulate research and scholarly attainment, promote development of interdisciplinary exchange and encourage the spread of information relating to new scientific discoveries. FRESHMAN FORUM

Freshman Forum is made up of 15 freshmen in the College of Arts and Sciences. These freshmen are given the opportunity to create awareness for other freshmen in the college about the opportunities they have. They are also able to get an understanding of what Arts and Sciences Student Council does and how they can contribute to the organization. Freshman Forum is responsible for determining their community service involvement.

-Applications will go out in the fall to all Freshman in the College Arts and Sciences. Applications will also become available at the Leadership and Campus Life desk at the Student Union. 

 


GAMMA THETA UPSILON (GEOGRAPHY HONOR SOCIETY)gamma theta upsilon

Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) is an international honor society in geography. Oklahoma State University’s GTU Chi Chapter was founded in 1948. SIGMA DELTA PI (SPANISH HONOR SOCIETY)spanish honor

Sigma Delta Pi, the National Collegiate Hispanic Honor Society (La Sociedad Nacional Honoraria Hispánica), was established on November 14, 1919, at the University of California Berkeley.  The Society's insignia is the royal seal of Fernando and Isabel, representing Castille, León and Aragón.  Sigma Delta Pi's colors are red and gold, its flower is the red carnation, and its motto is the Greek phrase "Spanías Didagéi Proágomen" meaning "Let's go forth/continue forth under the teaching/guidance of the Spanish language."
