Fall Recruitment will take place from August 11, 2019 to August 17, 2019. Please use the schedule below as an example of what was expected on each day.

Fall Recruitment at Oklahoma State University is a fully-structured, week long process
in which participants will attend events with each of the 13 National Panhellenic
Conference sorority chapters on campus. Throughout the week, potential new members
will get the opportunity to learn about chapter membership as well as the many exciting
aspects of being in a sorority at OSU. Following is a general description of each
round of Fall Recruitment. The schedule depicted below is tentative.

Saturday, August 11, 2018 |
Check In
9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. ---- Check in & attend the Vendor Fair 12:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. ---- Lunch on your own 5:30 p.m. ---- Dinner with your group 7:30 p.m. ---- Sorority neighborhood tour
The check-in process for formal recruitment is very important. First and foremost,
please note that moving into your permanent housing assignment does NOT automatically
check you in for formal recruitment. PNMs must report to the Colvin Recreation Center
Annex, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 11. Failure to
check in with the Panhellenic Council by 12 p.m. will result in a PNM being unable
to participate in recruitment.
Suggested attire: Just be comfortable.

Sunday, August 12, 2018 |
Orientation
3:00 p.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 4:00 p.m. ---- Potential new member orientation at the Gallagher-Iba Arena 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. ---- Dinner 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. ---- Activity with Gamma Chi's
PNMs and their families should conclude all family business prior to the PNM Orientation.
The session is only for PNMs and not families. The PNM Orientation begins at 4 p.m.
in Gallagher-Iba Arena Sunday, August 12. PNMs should arrive promptly.
Suggested attire: Just be comfortable.

Monday, August 13, 2018 |
First Event Round (Open House - Day 1)
9:00 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. ---- Events at chapter houses 1:30 p.m. ---- Lunch 6:30 p.m. ---- Dinner 8:00 p.m. ---- Group meetings in designated areas
Events are 30 minutes long and participants will have short conversations with a few
members. By the end of this day, participants will have visited approximately half
of the 13 chapters.
Attire for this day: OSU apparel such as a gameday dress or T-shirt, casual shorts,
skirt, jeans or capris and casual, comfortable shoes or flip-flops.

Tuesday, August 14, 2018 |
First Event Round (Open House - Day 2)
9:00 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. ---- Events at chapter houses 1:30 p.m. ---- Lunch 6:30 p.m. ---- Dinner 9:00 p.m. ---- Group meetings in designated areas
With your recruitment group, you will have the opportunity to visit all 13 chapters.
Spending 30 minutes in each chapter house will give you the opportunity to meet and
speak with women from every chapter. These days are the most relaxed, so have fun
and be yourself!
Suggested attire: Wear the T-shirt that we provide, casual shorts, skirt, jeans or
capris and casual, comfortable shoes or flip-flops.

Wednesday, August 15, 2018
Second Event Round (House Tour - Day 3)
7:00 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 8:00 a.m. ---- Events at chapter houses 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. ---- Lunch 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. ---- Dinner 9:30 p.m. ---- Group meetings in designated areas
On Wednesday, you will receive your schedule for the next day. Recruitment counselors
will be available to help you find the chapter houses each day. You will spend 40
minutes with each chapter. This is an exciting day because you will have the opportunity
to tour each house. Ask a lot of questions.
Suggested attire: Dressier than days one and two but still casual. Wear light summer
fabrics. A sundress, pants, or a skirt and blouse, and comfortable shoes.

Thursday, August 16, 2018 |
Third Event Round (Philanthropy & Sisterhood - Day 4)
8:00 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 9:00 a.m. ---- Events at chapter houses 12:30 - 2:00 p.m. ---- Lunch 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. ---- Dinner 9:30 p.m. ---- Group meetings in designated areas
Events are 50 minutes long on this day. Potential new members will learn about each
chapter's local and national philanthropies, as well as their community service involvement. Pay
attention to the house presentations because they tell you a lot! This is a good time to ask chapter members about philanthropy and community service
requirements, scholarship expectations, campus involvement, intramural sports participation
and financial obligations.
Suggested attire: Dressier again; wear a nice skirt and blouse or dress.

Fourth Event Round (Preference Round - Day 5)
7:30 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 8:30 a.m. - 8:15 p.m. ---- Events at chapter houses 1:30 p.m. ---- Lunch 3:00 p.m - 4:00 p.m. ---- Attend College Spotlights 4:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. ---- Attend Convocation with your recruitment group 11:10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. ---- MRABA Session I 12:30 p.m. - 12:50 p.m. ---- MRABA Session II 5:40 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. ---- MRABA Session III 8:30 p.m. ---- Dinner with your recruitment group 9:00 p.m. ---- Group meetings in designated areas
This is the final event round of recruitment and will last one hour. Potential new
members will have deeper conversations with chapter members regarding chapter values
and what chapter membership means to them.
Suggested attire: Dressiest of the week; a dress that you would wear to church or
a wedding. You do not need a formal or cocktail dress.

Bid Day
9:30 a.m. ---- Meet with recruitment counselors 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. ---- Potential new members receive bids 11:15 a.m. ---- Panhellenic Bid Day ceremony 11:45 p.m. ---- Potential new members transition to chapter houses 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. ---- Activities at chapter houses
This is Bid Day! In the morning, potential new members will receive their invitation
to join a sorority. New members will then go to the Panhellenic Bid Day Ceremony.
PNMs will be able to notify parents/guardians upon receiving a bid. Parents/guardians
can also visit designated locations at 11 a.m. to find out from what sorority you
have received a bid. Parents/guardians will be directed to the chapter houses to meet
up with their students for afternoon activities. There will be light food, pictures,
new member meetings, parent/guardian meetings, and more!
Attire for this day is VERY casual. The chapter you join will provide you with a T-shirt.
Wear casual shorts, jeans or skirts and tennis shoes (you will likely run to the chapter
house).
