Community Standards

Purpose

The purpose of the Oklahoma State Greek Community Standards is to improve the management and quality of each and every Fraternity and Sorority chapter here at Oklahoma State. Community Standards is not designed to be a competition among our Fraternity and Sorority community. The Community Standards programs is designed to be a self-evaluation for each chapter, providing a way for them to see where their chapter succeeds, and where it falls short.

Use of Results

Each chapter is graded and given one of four status:

  • Gold: 90% or higher
  • Silver: 80% - 89%
  • Bronze: 70% - 79%
  • Not in Good Standing: Below 70%

Each chapter's status can be found on the chapter pages for each of their respective councils. Chapters that achieve Gold status are recognized at the annual Greek Awards here at Oklahoma State. Groups failing to submit a Community Standards packet or falling below Bronze status, will be ineligible to apply for Greek Awards cycle immediately following the submission of the Community Standards packet.

Chapters that have not met the minimum standard will be required to work with their office coordinator to develop a plan on how to improve the chapter.

Below are the links to each council's Chapter pages:
