Application Timeline
Applications to be a 2023 Camp Cowboy Director will open on August 15, 2022. To apply, complete the following application. We will abide by the following timeline, unless a change needs to be made:

Eligibility
Candidates for this position must meet the following requirements:
- Have served on Camp Staff for at least one summer of Camp Cowboy
- Enrolled at OSU in Fall 2023
- Be in good standing with the University
Required Materials
Candidates will need to provide the following materials:
- List One Staff or Faculty Reference
- Provide a Letter of Recommendation from that reference
- Cover Letter - Outlining their interest in being a Camp Cowboy Director
- Resume
- Academic Transcript
Compensation & Benefits
Directors will be compensated starting in the Spring Semester at $8.50 an hour with an expectation that they work 10 hours a week during Spring. During the Summer Directors will be paid $8.50 at 50 hours a week during camp weeks. With taxes deducted from this, Directors can anticipate making roughly $4,000 in their time as Camp Cowboy Directors.
Directors will also receive a $300 meal plan for the summer as well as summer housing provided through Residential Life. Parking permits may be purchased throughout the summer, but are not guaranteed.
